Hello everyone,

I’m Sajid Zaman, and I’m running for Acute Care Specialties: Conference Chair! With extensive experience in event planning, leadership, and risk management, I have the skills to organise a well-structured, insightful, and engagingconference.

Over the past two years, I’ve led and managed various events across multiple societies:

ISoc Brother’s Events Officer – Organised multiple speaker events and Fresher’s Fortnight.
BSoc MAA Month Subcommittee – Helped run a successful charity campaign.
BADG Environmental Care Co-Head – Organised a community volunteering event.
ISoc Fresher Rep – Assisted in planning and executing large-scale events.
Reformation Charity Volunteer – Gained hands-on experience in community initiatives.

Beyond this, I have strong teaching and communication skills. At Explore Learning, I tutored up to six children at a time, quickly stepping into leading 11+ sessions. I also tutor GCSE Maths and Chemistry, developing my ability to break down complex topics and engage effectively.

If elected, I will:

Deliver a well-structured conference with insightful talks and engaging sessions.
Secure expert speakers to provide valuable insights into Acute Care.
Ensure smooth logistics, creating a high-quality experience for attendees.
