Prachur Khandelwal
Hello everyone, I'm Prachur, and I'm applying for the position of Year 3 Coordinator along with Yashwin!
Prachur: MedED has played a pivotal role in offering support and enabling me to give back in the same manner. My involvement as Phase 1B BRS lead has been extremely fulfilling, where I've spent 20+ hours to ensure that second-years are equipped with the resources to succeed. As a lecturer, I have delivered presentations on topics like gastroenterology and cardiology that have garnered positive feedback. Moreover, I understand the organisational and leadership skills required, evident from my experiences as Surgical Society General Executive and Indian Society President.
Yashwin: MedEd has supported me since my first year, shaping my journey through medical school. As a MedEd lecturer for two years, I’ve delivered engaging teaching that students have enjoyed. My leadership roles, including Conference Chair for Respiratory and Cardiology Societies, have strengthened my teamwork and organizational skills. Becoming Year 3 Coordinator is the perfect way to give back to this incredible society.
Our plan:
- Prioritising face-to-face OSCE preparation and ensuring students are well equipped for this exam.
- Creating a Syllabus: One of the main complaints we have is that Sofia can be tricky to use, so students don't know what to learn and in how much detail. By producing a syllabus, this should become self-explanatory.
- Live Passmed/Quesmed run-throughs: allowing students to understand the thought process on how to tackle the written exam questions.
Thus, we hope we have your vote for this role!
Thank you!
