Hayden Dyke

Hi everyone! I'm Hayden and I'm a First-Year student in EFDS (the new Economics, Finance and Data Science degree). I've had a strong passion in history ever since I was very young, especially in military history and the early modern era. I've explored history in many ways, from reading books such as biographies on Napoleon, visiting great museums (I was lucky enough to visit Brussels for a few days with my parents when I turned 18, and got to see the Waterloo battlefield museum!) to even trying my own spot of historical writing on the campaigns of Napoleon and Caesar.

I've attended a number of History Society Events, probably my favourite being the Pub Crawl earlier this academic year! As Treasurer, I would work hard to secure us funding where I can, and I would use my accounting expertise to ensure the Society's books were in good shape.
