Michael Porat-Bachmutsky

As the chair of vice, it will be my responsibility to organise events. I will be very active within the society, being able to go to the library most days to open it for non-committee members, and in the process also listening to feedback and suggestions for future events. I will also try to add to whatever events already exist, like movie nights or cinema trips, in order to ensure more people can be included and enjoy our events. I already have a few ideas for new events as well, like a silly debate night (a debate where the topics are all a bit wacky and irrelevant), a book crawl, a cosplayathon (making cosplays using DIY materials in a limited amount of time), a scavenger hunt, and much more. I will also attempt to organise events with other London Uni science fiction and fantasy societies in order to build a larger community.
In addition to this, I will attempt to work with other societies within the university for more unique and niche experiences.
