Women in Business: Events Manager

Hello everyone!

I’m Audrey, a first-year Medical Biosciences with Management student. I am excited to nominate myself for the role of Events Manager at Women In Business. I hope you and your friends will vote for me!

Having attended the amazing events organised by our lovely seniors, from the panel talks to interactive workshops, and being part of the mentorship scheme helped me to discover career paths in the business world.

As someone passionate about empowering and supporting women, I am eager to contribute my skills, creativity and vision to WIB. My experience as vice president of my previous school’s newsletter publication has equipped me with organisation, management and collaboration skills essential for event planning.

If elected as events manager, I will focus on organising impactful and insightful events that educate, connect and empower our members. In addition to current events, I also hope to introduce new initiatives to our society such as:

One-day work shadowing with women in business
Business pitch nights
Friendly case study competitions

If you would like to see the above additional events happening, please vote for me as I believe they provide unique learning opportunities. I value the importance of fostering connections within our community, so I'd love to organise more social events both within WIB and with other societies.
