Energy: Vice-President (Events)

As a passionate advocate for energy innovation and sustainability, I am excited to apply for the role of Vice President of the Energy Society. My experience as Design Project Manager this year has strengthened my ability to coordinate large-scale initiatives, manage teams effectively, and drive projects from concept to execution. Additionally, my involvement in the G3 Summit has given me valuable insight into energy policy, industry trends, and stakeholder engagement, which I aim to bring to the society.

In the coming year, I hope to expand collaborations with leading energy firms, fostering stronger connections between students and professionals across the energy sector. I plan to organize networking events that will provide members with valuable opportunities to engage with industry experts, secure guest speakers from top companies and research institutions to share insights on emerging trends and career opportunities, and facilitate industry-led workshops and site visits to offer hands-on exposure to real-world applications of energy technologies. Additionally, I aim to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration by bringing together students from engineering, business, and environmental fields to tackle energy challenges through discussions, case studies, and competitions.

I am committed to making Energy Society an engaging and impactful space for all, bridging the gap between academia and industry while championing innovation in the energy sector.
