Nichchalan Jeganathan

Hey guys,

I am Nichchalan and I would love to be the cardiovascular year 1/2 representative.

As the year 1/2 representative, I would be more than happy to listen to any ideas, concerns or expectations that you may have and ,hopefully, be able to address them.

Some of the aims I have include:

• Delivering high quality, concise and informative teaching sessions about cardiology i.e. ECG intrepretation, code blue
• Potentially delivering some form of mentorship where students are paired with any resident with an interest in cardiology i.e. IMT and have regular meetings
• Create a teaching series related to interventional cardiology

I have had experience with mentoring others previously for both academic and non-academic subjects and have tutored before, so I appreciate the importance of taking things one step at a time and also the importance of having someone as a guide. With the skills I have developed from these experiences, I hope to meet the aims set out, and also any expectations you may have.
