I am excited to apply for the role of Head of Promotions as I am passionate about cardiovascular medicine and keen to enhance engagement with the society. With my experience in publicity and social media management, I am confident in my ability to create eye-catching and engaging content to promote our events and initiatives effectively.
I have previously worked on publicity for the Paediatrics Conference and Imperial Tamil Society’s Games Night, ensuring posts were tailored to the target audience. I enjoy using Canva and have developed creative and intriguing designs that attract attention. If elected, I will ensure regular updates on social media and mailing lists, making information about events easy to find by improving highlights on Instagram.
To increase engagement, I plan to introduce interactive Instagram stories, such as polls, quizzes, or a ‘Question of the Week’, to spark discussion and involvement. Additionally, I aim to utilise multiple platforms, including LinkedIn, to connect with professionals and widen the society’s outreach.
My experience in organising and promoting events, such as the TSoc meet-and-greet and games night, has equipped me with the skills to boost awareness and attendance for society activities. With my creativity, organisation, and enthusiasm for cardiovascular medicine, I am eager to contribute and make the society’s promotions more impactful than ever.
