Hi everyone!

I’m Yuxin, a second-year chemistry student running to be your Sponsorship Manager for Women in Business!

Securing strong sponsorships is crucial to expanding ICWB’s events, networking opportunities, and career resources. I have personally benefited from a very insightful event with our sponsor, UBS, giving an introduction to the different roles at the bank and followed with an M&A case study taster.

As someone who actively engages with professionals and firms through LinkedIn, networking events, and office visits, I am committed to leveraging my experience to secure valuable partnerships for ICWB.

As Sponsorship Manager, I will work closely with the Vice President and Internal/alumni relations team to:

1. Expand our sponsorship network by gathering member feedback on preferred firms and sectors, then proactively engaging with those companies
2. Enhance firm engagement by developing personalized sponsorship proposals that align with companies’ recruitment and diversity goals, strengthening long-term relationships.
3. Negotiate meaningful sponsorship benefits, such as firm-sponsored networking events, mentorship programs, and priority recruitment access, to maximize opportunities for our members.
4. Maintain strong sponsor relationships by providing regular updates and ensuring high engagement at firm-sponsored events
