Hi, my name is Elakya, I’m a third-year medical student and I am running for the role of Website officer for Ophthalmology Society.

I want to be website officer because ophthalmology is a field that excites me, and I want the society to reach as many people as possible.

Having served as the Marketing Officer over the past year, I have developed a strong understanding of how to engage our members and enhance our society’s digital presence. I now seek to apply my skills to further improve our website as a vital platform for education, communication, and outreach.

I plan to strengthen our website’s connectivity with social media platforms, ensuring seamless access to the latest updates. Having served as marketing officer, I know being website officer is a role in which I will thrive and put my all into. I would love to be given the opportunity to help the society grow bigger!
