The events held in ICUMS have been incredible opportunities for me to forge meaningful connections, create lasting memories, and a perfect way to take a break from studies. That's why I am very excited to apply for Events Officer , where I can play an active role in organising fun and memorable events that bring the community together.

I am full of innovative ideas to shake up existing events, while introducing fresh ones to keep members on their toes. These range from more festive-themed casual socials (MidAutumn Festival, Easter) to cooking challenges, trivia and movie nights, and spontaneous day trips.

If elected, I will alongside my fellow Events Officer to set up a tentative calendar before term starts to plan events early, so that the logistics for events proceed smoothly with no unnecessary stress. I also want to hear more feedback from you guys as you all play a big part in this society, so I will be running quick polls and surveys to see which events are in high demand.

Furthermore, I would love to organise more events collaborating with other societies within Imperial (e.g. SingSoc, Abacus, IndonesiaSoc) and Malaysian Societies in other London universities. This obeys the law of fun which is more people= more fun + more unique, exciting events to experience together.
