General Practice (ICSM): Education Officer

I am excited to be part of Imperial GP Society and to apply for the role of Education Officer, supporting students in developing a deeper understanding of general practice and primary care. I am passionate about medical education and hope to help make learning about general practice engaging, accessible, and relevant for all students.

As Education Officer, I will organise interactive workshops, speaker events, and skills-based sessions that provide insights into the diverse and evolving role of general practice. I aim to collaborate with clinicians, academics, and students to deliver career talks, case-based discussions, and practical sessions covering key aspects of primary care, including patient communication, chronic disease management, and community-based medicine. I will also work on digital resources and revision materials, ensuring students have access to useful learning tools throughout their studies.

I have experience in medical education, event organisation, and research, working on initiatives that bring together students and healthcare professionals to share knowledge and skills. I have been involved in outreach and mentoring programs, helping to create engaging learning opportunities for students at different stages of their medical journey. These experiences have equipped me with strong organisational and communication skills that I will bring to this role.

If elected, I will work to ensure GP Society provides high-quality educational opportunities, supporting students in exploring careers in primary care while gaining valuable clinical skills. I look forward to helping the society grow and making general practice education more engaging for all.
