Hi everyone, my name is David and I’m a first-year medical student. I have enjoyed my time at social tennis and am running for social tennis captain to continue meeting new people and keep sessions fun for everyone. My time-management skills would help me ensure that sessions run smoothly in addition to posting polls and organising who will be playing each week. Regularly playing at social sessions has given me the experience required to take on this new role and as a first year I will be able to help future students settle into university life. Most importantly, if voted, I aim to keep social tennis as inclusive as possible to ensure all players feel welcome, whilst working alongside my fellow captain to share the responsibilities this role entails.
