Isa Duchovny

Hi, my name is Isa and I'm currently a first year BMB student. I'm super excited to be running for Treasurer for Teddy Bear Hospital! From the very first school visit, I've loved volunteering with this society and it always puts me in a good mood. I believe I'm a good choice for treasurer because I am organized and good at budgeting. For example, I keep a spreadsheet to track my weekly expenses, which I update regularly and assess to check where I'm spending too much money.

Furthermore, I'm passionate about community outreach. Outside volunteering for Teddy Bear Hospital, I volunteer at Charing Cross Hospital twice a week, as a mealtime volunteer on wards and a front of house volunteer.

If I am elected for the treasurer position, I will prioritize transparency, accountability, and strategic planning to handle the society's finances. My main objectives will be:

• Effective budgeting: I will create a yearly budget to ensure all expenses align with our society's goals while remaining financially stable.
• Responsible fund management: I will work with the equipment officers and other members of the committee to ensure we buy high-quality equipment while staying within budget.
• Financial transparency: I will maintain clear records of all transactions regularly update the committee on the society's finance, to ensure accountability at every stage.

Given my strong organizational skills, attention to detail and enthusiasm for Teddy Bear Hospital's mission, I can confidently say I would be a great fit for treasurer.
