Hi everyone, my name is Abhavya and I am excited to run for the position of oncology secretary. As someone passionate about oncology and medical advancements, I aim to bring fresh ideas to this role whilst being dedicated and organised.

As Secretary, I would ensure clear and efficient communication between members, speakers, and external organizations. As someone with excellent organisation skills, I would keep meeting minutes precise, maintain up-to-date records, and make sure everyone in the society is informed about upcoming events, research opportunities, and collaborations.

I would work with the rest of the society when planning events and aim to spread the information about these events early on through society newsletter emails so people can save the date.

I would love to help enhance engagement by making a society newsletter and using it to help create a supportive and informed community where members can share insights and learn from each other, along with links to relevant topics in oncology.

I hope to help the running of the society by ensuring the logistics of the society such as room bookings, organisation of events, administration tasks are all done on time and in advance.

With my organizational skills, enthusiasm and commitment, I am confident that I can contribute meaningfully to this society.
