Simran Kainth

Hi! I’m Simran and I would love to be the Volunteer Coordinator for Playteam. I have really enjoyed attending every Playteam session for the past year and the Paediatrics Conference. I also I believe I am well suited to this role due to my past experience of being Equipment Officer for the last year for Teddy Bear Hospital. I helped design and ordered the new T-shirts for Teddy Bear Hospital. This experience means I would easily be able to procure polos for the upcoming year as I have already collaborated with the same supplier extensively in the past year, having done two batches of orders due to increased demand.

In this role I have drawn multiple stickers and designed merchandise for Teddy Bear Hospital alongside my fellow Equipment Officer Akilesh. I am interested in designing and developing merchandise for Paediatrics and would like to evalute uptake on this as I believe every member of this society is understandably proud to be a part of this wonderful community! I have also collaborated with other members of committee for internal competitions and applying for Grants. I am looking forward to working with the play team section of the committee to recruit volunteers and leaders as I have effectively told everyone I know about play team in some capacity. It has been one of the highlights of the past year and I would be honoured to further promote and work with Play Team.
