Paediatrics: Volunteer Coordinator

Hello! I’m Akshaya Muthirulandi, and I am excited to be running for the role of Pediatrics Volunteer Coordinator.

You may be wondering—why me? I bring valuable experience from my roles in other societies, including serving as the Webmaster for the Surgical Society and the Publicity Officer for the Society of Research and Academia. These positions have honed my time management and organisational skills. Additionally, this year I have had the pleasure of serving as the Regional Head of In2MedSchool, which has provided me with essential experience in liaising with officials, marketing, and recruiting volunteers—along with managing any inquiries or concerns that arise.

As Volunteer Coordinator, my goals are to:

I aim to foster a positive enviroment for volunteers by organising regular socials and implement incentive programs to create a supportive and engaging environment for all volunteers.
I will oversee the timely ordering and distribution of polos for play team volunteers, ensuring they have everything they need for their roles.

I am committed to building a strong, happy, and well-supported volunteer team, and I would be honored to serve as your Pediatrics Volunteer Coordinator.
