Hi everyone! I’m Subanu, a third-year medic, and I’m running to be your Publicity Officer for ICSM Paeds :)))

This year, I’ve loved getting to know the ICSM Paeds community and exploring the many sides of paediatrics. The ‘Infancy to Independence’ conference gave me valuable insight into the specialty’s incredible range, and being part of Playteam at St Mary’s has been such a rewarding experience. Now, I’d love to give back to this amazing society!

As Publicity Officer, I’d use my graphic design skills to make our events stand out and ensure no one misses out on exciting opportunities. I know how easy it is for society announcements to get lost, so I’m committed to creating eye-catching, engaging content that grabs attention. My strong organisational and teamwork skills will ensure posts are timely, relevant, and smoothly coordinated.

I also have fresh ideas to boost awareness of our society and celebrate the achievements of our members through social media. Expanding to platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels could help us reach even more students and showcase what makes paediatrics so special.

Most of all, I’d love the chance to contribute more to this wholesome, inspiring community and encourage others to explore paediatrics. Your support would honestly mean the world—thank you so much!
