Hey everyone!

I’m so excited to be running for Publicity Officer for the IC Obstetrics & Gynaecology Society. I’ve always been fascinated by O&G, but it was my interest in research that truly made me realize how much there is to explore in women’s health—an entire ocean of knowledge waiting to be uncovered. My placement in O&G solidified that passion, and when I came across the incredible events run by this society, I knew I had found a community I wanted to be part of.

Speaking to consultants in the field made me appreciate just how important it is to create spaces for discussion, networking, and learning—especially about aspects of women’s lives that are often overlooked or not spoken about enough. When I saw the society’s mission, it just clicked. I knew I wanted to get involved and do everything I could to make these events even bigger, more accessible—especially for early-year students—and to support fifth-years as they navigate the O&G aspects of their exams.

As Publicity Officer, I’ll make sure no one misses out on the amazing opportunities this society has to offer. I’ll work to expand our reach, making our events more visible and engaging through creative and effective promotion, whether that’s through social media, posters, or outreach.

I’d love the opportunity to contribute to this society and help grow this incredible community.
