Hi! I am Suraubi and I am a third-year medic running for the position of secretary for Cardiovascular society. With a strong passion for cardiology and a commitment to efficient organisation, I am confident that I can ensure the society functions smoothly, remains well-organised and continues to offer impressive events and resources for all.

My experience:

• As founder of First Aid society in sixth form I have had multiple opportunities to interact with team members and student members, forming strong relationships both with the team and the audience
• I will serve as a liaison between members ensuring that information is shared between the team and everyone’s voice is heard. Clear and transparent communication is the key for any society to thrive and I believe I am equipped to achieve this.

My vision as secretory:

• Ensuring efficient society management and communication by having well documented society events, meetings and initiatives
• Keeping society members well informed through regular updates and group messages
• Collaborating with experts in the field, cardiologists and alumni to organise talks, workshops and research opportunities
• Enhancing student engagement by working on initiatives that support students all the way from pre-clinical to clinical years
• Ensure an effective handover process for Cardiovascular society 2026-2027!
