Dear SORA Members,

My name is Prachur Khandelwal, and I am running with Akshaya. Other than our strong passion for cardiovascular medicine, here are a few reasons why you should vote for us as your next NC lead.

Our Experience

Prachur: As President of the Indian Society (the largest cultural society), he organised multiple large-scale events with 300+ attendees, demonstrating strong event management and leadership. His experience as a General Executive for the Surgical Society has further developed his ability to run academic events smoothly.

Akshaya: As the current publicity officer of SORA, she has extensive knowledge of the society's inner workings. Additionally, she is the current regional head of In2MedSchool and, therefore, has knowledge of running large-scale regional events.

Our Plans

Implementing Innovative Ideas: More interactive new workshops and possibly a research innovation competition that helps foster a mindset of development and progress. This can be made to a relatively grand scale due to the inter-university collaboration for this conference.

Recruiting research-driven speakers: Improving high-quality learning opportunities accessible to all students, fostering engagement with experts and peers alike. We would work on recruiting speakers who are interested in taking on medical students for their projects or would be able to link the students with others who think the same.
