Hi All. My name is Anoushka.

I am excited to stand for a position in the Imperial Society of Research and Academics. As a beneficiary of the society, I understand SORA's vital role in helping students make connections, remain at the forefront of cutting edge research and build portfolios. My experience in medical societies, education, and communication has equipped me with the skills necessary to support and promote research engagement at Imperial.

As Publicity Officer for the Respiratory Society, I successfully increased event participation through strategic promotion. My roles as Treasurer of the Medical Women’s Federation and Fundraiser Officer for the Oncology Society have strengthened my ability to manage logistics, finances, and sponsorships. Additionally, my experience tutoring medical students for clinical exams and prospective students with ICSM Vision has honed my ability to present complex topics clearly and effectively. I also partake in education, having been a tutor for 8 years including medical education for CPA and lecturing Phase 1 students.

If elected, I will work to enhance the visibility and accessibility of research opportunities for students across all disciplines. I will ensure clear communication of academic events, provide structured support for those seeking research experience, and foster a collaborative environment to connect students with mentors and projects.
