I am Sharon, a 2nd year Bioengineering student and a speaker coordinator for TEDxImperial 24/25. It has been an exciting experience being in TEDx and I can’t wait for another fascinating year. TEDx shares and sparks ideas. I believe Imperial students have all sorts of ideas, and TEDx has the perfect stage for them.

As a chair, I would aim to

  1. Increase exposure of TEDx by on-campus promotions and social media updates (e.g. share intriguing TED talks on a regular basis)
  2. Have at least one small scale TEDx talk on top of our annual conference
  3. Ensure effective liaison within committee and with subcommittee members
