Bella Hobby

As a bassist, I know how frustrating it can be when equipment doesn't work. Its always annoying to plug into the amp and get no signal, especially when the rest of your band is sitting around waiting for you. Reliable gear is the backbone of live music, and I want to make sure LMS continues to provide the best possible support for musicians.

With most of the current committee graduating, I want to help ensure a smooth transition and keep LMS running strong. Over the past year, I have attended, performed at and helped out at various LMS events, which has shown me just how much effort goes into every LMS event. As Hire Manager, I’d work closely with the equipment and tech team to maintain our gear, streamline rentals, and make sure our musicians have access to the resources they need to put on incredible performances. Renting out our gear doesn't just help out other societies, it also brings in funding that allows us to invest in better equipment for LMS musicians!

The LMS community has become one of my favourite aspects of life at Imperial, and although I still have a lot to learn, it would be an honour to be elected for this role so that I can help continue the great work of the current committee.
