Sammi Chen

Hi everyone, my name is Sammi Chen and I will be running for the VP training position this year. I am currently a first year biological sciences student and I am very interested in consulting as a career. I aim to create a structured, engaging, and accessible training program that equips members with the technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and strategic mindset needed to excel in consulting. I am committed to ensuring that every member, regardless of experience level, has the opportunity to develop core consulting competencies and gain the confidence to succeed in case interviews, internships, and careers. I hope to organize case competitions, live consulting projects, and mock interviews to provide real-world experience, and partner with industry professionals and alumni for guest lectures and mentorship sessions.

My interest in consulting stems from a combination of intellectual curiosity, problem solving enthusiasm, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A little about me- in my free time, i enjoy going out to explore the city and different restaurants with my friends and I love music and playing the violin. As someone who doesnt have the grestest depth in knowledge about consulting, I hope to ensure everyone from allbackgrounds get the opportunity to explore this career path and see all the joys to it.
