Mohamed Jama
Hello everyone,
I’m Mohamed, a third-year medical student, and I’m running for ICG President to elevate the society’s impact and reputation.
Having served as a Project Manager at ICG and an Engagement Manager with Cambridge Consulting Network London, I’ve led teams to deliver actionable solutions to real clients. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of what makes a consulting society successful—high-quality projects, strong client relationships, and a platform that prepares students for consulting careers.
My experience with ICG last term reinforced my appreciation for the value it provides to both students and clients. As President, I want to build on this by improving training, strengthening the ICG brand, and enhancing opportunities for our members.
If elected, I will focus on three key areas:
- Enhanced Training – I will develop structured resources to help members think like consultants, improve slide deck creation, and communicate solutions effectively. A stronger deck template and focused training will lead to higher-quality deliverables, strengthening ICG’s reputation.
- Attracting Larger Clients – By implementing a structured sourcing strategy and leveraging our committee-wide network more effectively, we can secure high-profile, reputable clients that provide students with valuable real-world experience.
- Refining the Application Process – Introducing structured CV reviews, pre-recorded interview components, and case study interviews will better prepare students for competitive consulting and finance recruitment.
I’d love your support to take ICG to the next level!
