Hello cavers!
My name is Lamya, I am a medical student and I hope to be your next Tackle Master. I didn't know what caving was five months ago, but I fell in love with the sport and the club as soon as I joined; so I'm really keen to help out in the club. I may lack experience but I'm enthusiastic and eager to learn! If I am Tackle Master, I will strive to keep stores tidy and ensure equipment is well maintained. I'd also love to have a go at training freshers next year.
My qualifications:
- I love stores.
- I make pretty daisy chains
- I am good at crochet. I'm sure there are some transferrable skills
My vision for stores next year:
- everything will be organised by size in descending order, we'll be packing kit in record time
- stores Wednesday every Wednesday until all PVCs are patched up. There shall be no exposed bums under my watch
- we will own a club Henry hoover. Because with the amount of mud in stores, I fear there is a real risk of developing asthma
In a long line of Tackle Masters, may I be the first to reverse the kit:mud ratio.
