Hi fellow natural scientists! I’m Abi, an avid 1st year Biologist and interdisciplinary NatSci enthusiast :)
I believe that I am the perfect candidate for next year’s RCSU secretary and I am committed to propelling next year’s RCSU activities and events to the next level.
As a loyal RCSU events attendee and one of four members of the winning RCSU researchathon project, I have firsthand experience as to what makes RCSU events so enjoyable and motivating to participate in. One thing that I realised contributed to our strength in the researchathon was the collaboration between our fields of speciality (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) – by approaching our target issue of choice from three different scientific lenses, we presented very strong, unique and innovative strategies.
As all of you will agree, the RCSU aims to innovate with this same collaboration between all the Natural Sciences and mimic our small success in the researchathon in a much larger, working-world scale.
By voting for me, I will devotedly ensure representation and collaboration amongst all the Natural Sciences departments and help to promote, communicate and organise events with other RCSU leaders. I am dedicated to ensuring the smooth running of events and wish to inspire more passion and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary innovations.
