Hey everyone, I’m Tara, and I’m running for Chief Events Officer to help keep the gigs, open mics, and socials coming.

Over the past two years, I’ve performed at society events, attended countless gigs, and seen firsthand what makes them work. This year, I’ve also been on the committee as Hire Manager, giving me hands-on experience with the logistical side of things of the Live Music Society.

I know how much time and effort goes into planning gigs and socials, and I want to take on that responsibility. Whether it’s organising venues, making sure performers have what they need, or handling last-minute changes, I’m ready to put in the work to keep everything running smoothly.

At the end of the day, this society thrives on live music and the community around it. My goal is to make sure we have plenty of opportunities for people to get on stage, support each other, and just have a great time.
