Martin Liang
Hi everyone! I’m Martin, an Electronic and Information Engineering student, and some of you may know me from my time in the society. With the current committee graduating, I will be the longest-serving committee member, having worked behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. Now, I want to take Robotics Society to the next level.
Robotics is more than just building cool projects—it’s a combination of engineering, research, and industry innovation. Many students struggle to find the right resources, mentorship, or career opportunities. I want to transform Robotics Society into a hub for learning, collaboration, and professional development.
If elected, I will:
- Build a knowledge base covering essential skills, research topics, and industry insights.
- Support research and technical projects, giving members resources to explore new ideas.
- Strengthen academic and industry connections through networking, guest talks, and collaborations.
- Expand workshops and technical training to help members gain practical skills.
- Provide career support, from internship guidance to professional mentorship.
- Foster a thriving community with more hackathons, social events, and a collaborative environment.
Robotics Society should be a launchpad for future engineers and roboticists. Whether you're here to learn, compete, or build something incredible, I want to make sure you have the tools and support to succeed. Let’s take this society to the next level together.
