Research is the backbone of progress in neuroscience and neurosurgery. As Research Project and Audit Coordinator, I am committed to making these opportunities more accessible, engaging, and impactful for NeuroSoc members. With experience researching the effects of hypervigilance on vestibular perception and processing, as well as leading clinical audits such as the DATES audit on TIA services and the Pharmacy First audit in primary care, I understand the challenges and rewards of research firsthand.

If elected, I will:

• Expand access to research opportunities by connecting students with clinicians, academics, and research labs, making it easier to get involved in neuroscience and neurosurgery projects at Imperial and beyond.
• Organise research skills workshops, covering everything from study design and data analysis to writing papers and presenting at conferences, ensuring members feel confident navigating the research world.
• Introduce a structured research mentorship system, where experienced students can guide newcomers in finding and excelling in research and audit projects.
• Support student-led audits by providing resources and guidance on initiating, conducting, and publishing audits relevant to neuroscience and neurosurgery.

I am committed to making NeuroSoc a launchpad for student research, ensuring members have the skills, connections, and opportunities to make meaningful contributions to neuroscience.
