Hello fellow quiz people, I'd like to be your chair for the next academic year. My goal is to keep things running smoothly and introduce more varied quizzing events, while ensuring that quizbowl continues to thrive here.

In my bygone undergraduate days, I spent two years as the quiz society's treasurer, helped run things from the shadows, and set up some well-received events with other societies, like the gaming society quiz and alternative music society pub quiz. I would continue with the more laid-back events and try to make them a little more regular.

I've had much experience organising tournaments at Imperial and elsewhere, and training other committee members in the dour administrative arts, so rest assured the money will keep coming in through that. Naturally, recently-established traditions such as the Imperial Trash packets and the Quiz about Quiz: London Edition will persist. I also hope to establish an Imperial-LSE varsity quiz event (or continue it, if it happens sooner)

Some more ambitious things I'd like to do, depending on how much time I have, but can't promise:

• Quiz tournament between Imperial's constituent unions (i.e. RCS vs CGC vs RSM vs ICSM)
• Write our own proper quizbowl tournament
