Jamminee Jegaratnam

Hi, I’m Jamminee :) a second year medical student, and I’m excited to run for Sponsorship Officer!

I am passionate about making medicine accessible to all and am so excited to work with the team in making that possible! Through mentorship, sponsorship and target outreach I want to make medicine more inclusive to meet the needs of communities from different socio-economic backgrounds. I hope to utilise my communication skills to reach out to different sponsors. This allows funding for workshops to ensure students receive guidance on the application process.

As a former Biology and UCAT tutor, I have honed my ability to tailor guidance to students at different stages of their application journey. I understand the challenges they face and I'm committed to helping them every step of the way.

My experience working with charities like the British Heart Foundation has equipped me with the skills to build meaningful partnerships and secure sponsorships. I recognise the power of collaboration in supporting students from all socio-economic backgrounds, and I will apply this knowledge to ICSM Vision.
