Akshat Sharma

Hi everyone, I’m Akshat, a second-year medic, and I’m excited to be running for the position of Medical School Liaison for Vision.

As a second year I remember how stressful applying to medical school was and I would love to be able to help students with their application and give them the confidence to perform their best in interviews and the UCAT.

Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of assisting with MMI mock interviews and found it very rewarding and my experience tutoring has shown me the value of personalized guidance, and I’m committed to providing tailored help to anyone applying to medical school.

If elected, I’ll work closely with both the vision committee and medical schools to find out how best to help applicants show their best side to prospective medical schools by corresponding with the medical schools to find out what they are looking for.
