Aishat Azeez
Hi, I’m Aishat, a 2nd Year Medical Student! 😊
I’m super excited to run for Roadshow Chair! As a widening participation student, I know first-hand how important it is to make medicine accessible to everyone. I’ve really enjoyed being involved with outreach, whether that’s through my work with the Social Mobility Foundation or mentoring Year 12/13 students with Zero Gravity. Having been a part of Vision’s Roadshows in the past, I’ve loved being part of a community that uplifts one another and makes medicine feel within reach for everyone. These experiences have shown me how impactful a bit of guidance can be—and I’d love to take on a bigger role in making that happen!
I also bring event-planning experience to the table, having helped organise events with Imperial’s Islamic Society. I’m all about making things run smoothly, keeping everyone in the loop, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. If elected, I’d focus on building connections with schools that haven’t been involved before, especially in underserved areas. I’d also like to introduce workshops for our volunteers on public speaking and presentation skills to prepare them to lead engaging and confident sessions during school visits.
I’m ready to work with the team, support our volunteers, and make sure our events are both fun and inspiring. Thanks for considering me, I’d really appreciate your vote!
