Vision: Junior Conference Chair
Hello! My name is Srisneha Mettu and I am applying for Junior Conference Lead of Vision society. As a member and volunteer of Vision, I am really inspired by the work of this society and would love to contribute to it. I am very passionate about education equity and teaching.
My Experience
- My experience as a tutor in Muslim Medics, Surgical society and Vision- I understand the elements that go into creating a high quality interactive teaching session.
- As President of FoMSF, I have had a lot of experience in creating new events. I have worked with multiple societies, universities, sponsors and doctors to create conferences, hackathons and fundraiser events.
- My experience as Academic Rep, I have learnt a great deal of organisational skills and managing and interpreting large scale feedback data to improve the academic experience of students.
- My experience as SFP lead of SORA, I have independently created and held speaker events and mock interviews to prepare 5th years for SFP applications.
- My experience as a volunteer with NGOs and high schools in India, I have delivered pre-medical teaching in slums of India.
