Hi, I’m Kriti, a first year medic!

Vision has always had a special place in my heart, having attended the MMA conference and other events held by vision myself. I can truly appreciate how invaluable the work of the committee is and I owe some of my application success to them. I still remember being a stressed year 13 in the midst of interview season and leaving the conference so much more confident !

I’ve been helping out over the past year through the subcommittee and volunteered at every event, showing my commitment and how keen I am to lead next year. I am very hands on and during the conferences I tried my best to take initiative and lead where I could. Moreover, I really enjoy working with and mentoring children. I regularly volunteer at a primary school food bank as well as Dr Me and Teddy bear hospital.

I am also a GirlGuiding leader and so have a lot of experience organising large scale events such as fundraisers or trips for the guides. I've organised multiple fundraisers with up to hundred people attending and recognise the challenges that come with leading the conference. Although I recognise the conference will require a lot of work, I know the committee will support me.

Working with everyone for the last two conferences was an amazing experience and the committee is full of the best people.

I would love the opportunity to give back and help future generations of medical students! 😁
