Neuro: Co-President

I am excited to run for Co-President of the Neuroscience Society, building on my experience as the academic representative for our BSc and my role in organising this year’s Meeting of the Minds conference. Through these positions, I have worked closely with students and faculty to enhance our academic experience, advocate for our needs, and bring engaging opportunities to our cohort.

My vision for the society is to create an inclusive and dynamic space where students can explore their passion for neuroscience beyond the classroom. I want to expand academic and career-focused events, connecting students with leading researchers and clinicians, while also fostering a supportive community for networking and collaboration. By strengthening partnerships with external speakers and societies, I will ensure we continue to offer high-quality talks, workshops, and mentorship opportunities.

I believe the Neuroscience Society should be both academically enriching and socially engaging. Whether through research showcases, revision sessions, or informal gatherings, I will work to make the society more accessible and beneficial to all members. My experience liaising between students and staff, coupled with my commitment to fostering a thriving neuroscience community, makes me confident in my ability to lead and grow our society.

I would be honored to serve as your Co-President and look forward to shaping an exciting year ahead.
