Soup Run: Soup Run Secretary

My name is Juliette. Now I have a confession, I only decided to run for this role when I saw that no one else had. SoupRun is a crucial society, and we can’t lose all the good work it does.

But, that does not mean I don’t have ideas to maximise SoupRun’s impact!

My main intention is to keep up volunteering numbers in spring and summer term:

As freshers surged to help in the Winter term, numbers tend to dwindle as the months go on.

So, I thought, why not enlist the help of specific societies!?

Each week, we can encourage each course’s society to promote that week’s drive.

Promised as a community bonding exercise, by encouraging students with similar interests to volunteer together, we can source more volunteers and promote SoupRun.

As secretary, I could manage these communications with societies and design graphics (with the power of Photoshop and Canva)

Let’s keep SoupRun active, and keep widening its reach!
