Hey everyone <3

I'm Pariza, a third-year biochemistry student currently on an industrial placement at a UK pharma company. I'm passionate about diversity and inclusion in the sciences, so I’m keen to promote WSET to a wider audience as the Felix correspondent.

Having already been Art Club’s social media manager in my second year, I have good communication skills, which I have been able to further develop working with my department at my placement so far. At placement, I have also gotten involved in:

• Diversity & Inclusion - part of a volunteer group encouraging race/ethnic diversity
  • Involved in organising a BHM stall
  • Planning and marketing lunch session to encourage more employees getting involved
• Helping with an International Women’s Day event
• Volunteering at a local school for deaf students during a career day
