Satya Putreau

My name is Satya, and I would love to be Socials Team Captain next year. I have been playing netball ever since I was young, and I have always loved it. One of the first clubs I was excited to join at uni was netball, and I am so glad I did. The netball community has been incredibly welcoming, and being Socials Captain would give me the opportunity to bring that same enthusiasm and support to new members—just as Alice did when she welcomed us onto the team.

I have attended almost every training session since the start and as many matches as possible. I want to ensure that our team spirit is just as strong off the court as it is on it by planning fun and inclusive events that bring everyone together. My goal is to encourage as many freshers as possible to join our socials and stay involved with the club throughout their time at Imperial. To make this happen, I plan to organise team dinners, nights in, and nights out, creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for everyone.

I am an approachable person who is always happy to listen to ideas and ensure that everyone feels included. I am also organised, which is key for planning and coordinating successful events. Most importantly, I am enthusiastic and dedicated to making our socials fun, engaging, and memorable for the whole team.
