Kitty Hong

Hi everyone, I’m Kitty, and I hope to be your BioSoc Publicity Officer for the next academic year.
I aim to bring more excitement and interest towards Biosoc events through creative social-media posts and newsletters. I feel well suited for this role as I spend around 30 hours a week on Instagram and doing GCSE art has shaped me into a canva diva. In the past, I have successfully organised a game of tag with around 25 people in Biology, after vigorously promoting it both online and in-person, I managed to get over 50 people from various courses interested in playing. If elected, I’ll focus on increasing engagement on the BioSoc Instagram page by posting fun, interactive content, such as polls on stories and entertaining reels. I’ll also work on improving communication across all platforms, ensuring everyone is aware and clear about upcoming events.
