BioSoc has been such an enjoyable and key part of my experience at Imperial; a sentiment I would like loads more to share.
I am well-practiced at keeping myself and others to deadlines and managing tasks thanks to previously being on student councils for both secondary school and sixth form, in similar positions to VP. I have further leading experience from being a tennis/badminton coach, which has included leading other coaches, in sometimes chaotic and volatile environments.
I am not afraid of dipping into other roles to keep plans on schedule nor pestering anyone so that operations can continue to run smoothly, be it committee members, students, or staff.
I believe that BioSoc should work more alongside other societies, like BioChem and sport/activity societies. From this, we would be able to foster more events and opportunities, for sociality, but also interdisciplinary networking.
I am incredibly thankful for your trust in me as Vice President and look forward to what BioSoc will be able to achieve. Please vote!!
