Hi everyone, I am Isaac.
I envision PASS as a close-knit family that offers individuals from diverse backgrounds an invaluable opportunity to connect and build meaningful relationships. ICPASS symbolised the values of fostering social engagement while promoting public awareness, and I would be honored to dedicate my efforts to strengthening this community.
Looking ahead, I plan to introduce more engaging activities for PASS members. These include member trips to enhance bonding, a Chinese New Year charity sale to contribute actively to society, and weekly gatherings to foster a sense of belonging. Additionally, by increasing collaboration with societies such as ICCS and ICAAHK, we can create more opportunities for incoming freshers. One of our key goals next year is to establish an annual publication with a STEM focus, featuring a STEM essay writing competition to encourage academic engagement.
My past leadership experience—serving as project leader for the HKICPA Accounting Competition, conducting an independent STEM research project, and chairing the Chinese Language Society—has equipped me with strong management and leadership skills. Furthermore, my active participation in PASS events, including the Birmingham Public Speaking Competition and the LSE Forum, has deepened my understanding of our community's values and aspirations.
With a clear vision, concrete goals, and a deep dedication to serving my peers, I am confident in my ability to lead ICPASS to new heights. My experience has prepared me to take on the role of ICPASS president, and I am eager to contribute my best to this remarkable community.
