Hi everyone!! I’m Nicole, and I'm currently a first year Medical Biosciences student. I’m running for the position of Treasurer.
Over the past few months, I have participated in numerous internal and external PASS events, including the flagship Famine 24, Imperialogy, Birmingham Public Speaking and the LSE forum. These fabulous experiences give me a sense of belonging, inspiring me to contribute as a committee member and help next year’s freshers feel the same.
I’m running for the position of treasurer to enhance my financial planning ability and try to seek more sponsors for this society. Then, we could possibly have more capital to host more brand new events for members to join without charging them high. A better price could engage more members to join our activities and foster stronger connections between them.
I’ve been a treasurer of the class for 3.5 years in high school and have relative experience in managing money for a group of people and communicating with classmates and teachers. In terms of teamworking, I am part of the subcommittee of the ICPASS and BiomED society, as well as helping Felix to create and upload posts at Imperial, I enjoy collaborating with others and am eager to bring my skills and dedication to this role.
I believe my financial management experience, teamwork skills, and passion for this society make me a strong candidate for Treasurer. I’m eager to enhance our funding, organize more accessible events, and strengthen the PASS community. Thank you!
