Hello everyone! I’m Jiaying, and I’m excited to run for External Vice President of MathSoc. My goal is to strengthen our external relationships, secure valuable opportunities for our members, and ensure MathSoc continues to thrive as a professional and impactful society.

Build Strong Sponsor Relationships: I’ll maintain prompt, professional communication with our sponsors, ensuring they feel valued and engaged. This will not only solidify current partnerships but also set a strong foundation for future collaborations.

Attract New Sponsors: Drawing from my success in securing two new sponsors this year, I’ll continue reaching out to potential partners with tailored proposals and meetings to bring in additional funding for events and operations.

Expand Career Opportunities: I’ll organize more career-focused events, such as fairs and company workshops, in collaboration with the MathSoc committee. These events will help members transition into the workplace and explore diverse career paths.
