BioMedical: Secretary

Hi everyone! I’m Nicole, a first-year Medical Biosciences student running for Secretary.

Being part of this community—from Freshers' Week to the Mums and Dads Scheme—has shown me how welcoming and supportive it is. I’ve truly appreciated the effort to help freshers settle into university life, and I now want to give back by serving as a committee member.

In terms of leadership, I was a high school prefect for three years and hosted a subcommittee game at Famine 24 (ICPASS).

I’ve also taken on multiple roles, including:

These experiences demonstrate my flexibility and ability to play different roles in a team, as well as my dedication to contributing to the community I am participating in.

Goals as a secretary:

Expand the Biomedical Network: Strengthen connections among students and societies.
Enhance Student Engagement: Improve communication channels for better outreach.
Foster an Inclusive Environment: Ensure every student feels supported and involved.
