Duygu Sarihan

Hi everyone!

I’m Duygu, a first-year Molecular Bioengineering student, and I’m excited to run for Liaison Officer for Women in SET!

My passion for gender equality began in high school, where I was actively involved in a gender equality club, working to create inclusive spaces and promote gender equality. Additionally, my experience being in the liaison committee organizing the MUN conference for our school has helped me grow my skills in building connections, organizing events, and reaching out to external organizations.

As Liaison Officer, I want to strengthen WSET’s connections with other societies at Imperial and beyond, fostering collaborations that provide more opportunities for networking, mentorship, and skill-building. I also aim to secure partnerships with companies and industry professionals to enhance events and sponsorships, ensuring WSET continues to be a space where women can thrive.

I would love the chance to support WSET’s outreach and create more meaningful connections for all of us. I would be honored to have your support and I'm looking forward to working with all of you!
