Aditi Mehta
Why should I, Aditi, be Vice President of Corporate Relations? It's simple: I am obsessed with checking my emails and people pleasing - two skills anyone in charge of corporate relations needs.
As for my credentials, I was part of the team that won the UCL Consulting Summit last month. We structured a winning strategy, but more importantly forged several friendships at the competition. Therefore, I have scope to do more cross-university socials, engage external partners, and have gained inspiration for running smooth, company sponsored events. I have also led societies before, such as the Biochemistry Society in my high-school where I managed funding to organise weekly presentations and expert-led panels. As Books Section Editor at Felix, I work to a tight weekly deadline, making sure articles read clearly and are submitted on time. I also work with a team of nearly 30 writers. All proof that I can stay organised and communicate effectively under pressure.
I plan to take the Consultancy Society further by:
- Securing more sponsorships
- Organising Imperial case competitions
- Creating opportunity for Imperial involvement in the consulting industry: think networking, industry insight events, and CV workshops by professionals.
Vote Aditi Mehta for VP Corporate Relations - because networking should be more than an awkward LinkedIn request.
