My name is Osa and I’m running to be your VP of Gospel Choir next year.

Since joining Gospel Choir in my first year, it has been a place of joy where I’ve built strong friendships and grown in Christ. I would love to contribute to this atmosphere, ensuring members not only sing but also grow spiritually together.

My key goal is to enlarge our impact as a society. While we’ve focused on growing our membership and fostering a Christ-centered community, I believe it’s time to extend our reach beyond ourselves.

To achieve this, I envision organising charitable events such as:

• Fundraising initiatives to support Christian and humanitarian causes.

• Christmas caroling at hospitals and care homes.

• Partnering with charities to uplift those experiencing homelessness.

As VP, I will strengthen existing systems while ensuring the society moves forward in its Kingdom purpose by:

• Supporting the president and committee with organising showcases, events, and rehearsals.

• Being proactive and efficient in scheduling and performance development.

• Keeping our focus on serving God first, as Colossians 3:23 reminds us: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.”

I hope to continue building and strengthening this society, keeping Jesus at the center of all we do.
